Portfolio Manager
Resurge Growth Partners was established by Oren Peleg. With over 35 years of experience, Oren's journey in the world of private equity began at Citibank. In 1991 he joined McKinsey & Co, eventually becoming a Partner, specializing in operations, transformations and growth.
In 1999, Oren returned to private equity with Nomura which later became Terra Firma Capital Partners as an Operating Partner. During this time, he led many Portfolio transformations. In 2006, Oren embarked on a new chapter with Oaktree Capital, contributing to the establishment of their European Private Equity business. Here, he played a pivotal role in building several business platforms from the ground up, gaining invaluable insights into scaling and expanding businesses.
In 2012, Oren assumed the role of Chairman and CEO of Fitness First, the world's largest fitness operator at the time. Oren's leadership and strategic vision led to the remarkable transformation of Fitness First, earning recognition as the "Turnaround of the Decade." Since 2019, Oren has continued his journey by investing in and serving as an Executive Chair for various start-ups and scale-ups in the Venture space.
Oren's expertise encompasses governance, transformation, fundraising, and successful exits across the entire spectrum of a company's lifespan, ranging from startups to scale-ups to mature growth.
Eyal Malinger co-founded Resurge Growth Partners with Oren, bringing over 25 years of technology and investing experience. He began his career as a software developer in the Military. After completing his undergraduate degree, Eyal joined McKinsey. He was sponsored by McKinsey to study at Harvard Business School, where he graduated with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar.
In 2009, Eyal joined Oaktree Capital’s European Private Equity business where he learned the ins and outs of finance and value investing.
In 2013, Eyal joined Countrywide PLC as corporate development director, where he led corporate venture investments.
In 2016, Eyal joined Beringea, where he was a Partner and co-led the equity investment team. He led investments in and sat on the boards of several successful companies, including MPB.com, Zoovu, Aistemos, CreativeX, Asterra, Papier, and Gorilla.
Eyal serves on the board of London & Partners, London’s business and development agency. He is a highly respected investor with deep expertise in due diligence, deal sourcing, negotiation and execution, and governance.
